Nash Industrial Services provide a silo cleaning service using trusted Gyro whip technology to a range of industries worldwide.
Certain materials such as cement, gypsum, coal, a variety of screenings and even grain will adhere to silo walls where build ups and hang ups are formed, causing blockages.
Blockages can significantly reduce the efficiency of your system which can cause delays in production and bulk dispatch. These blockages can also considerably reduce the storage capacity of the silos which often lead to costly downtime due to unplanned shutdowns and serious commercial loss of unrecoverable materials. In some cases, untreated blockages can cause a serious fire risk and even fatal accidents.
Where serious deposits have already built up or where the blockages with material are particularly tough, silo cleaning with Gyro Whip technology offers the perfect solution.
The Gyro Whip offers a safe and fast solution to maintaining clean and continuous operating conditions in silos, bins and hoppers in the dry bulk manufacturing processing industry. With this system there is no need for operators to enter the potentially dangerous confines of bulk storage systems thus eliminating accidents.
The Gyro Whip is designed to be used remotely though a manhole opening at the top.
Powered by compressed air, the Gyro Whip motor can be manoeuvred by one operator who manipulates the cleaning head. A variety of whips and cutting edges can be fitted to the revolving cleaning head to remove even the toughest materials without damage to the silo, bin or hopper walls. The equipment is mobile and can be easily positioned at the cleaning location.
The motor drive is attached to a flexible hose that can extend down to 45 meters as standard, although longer lengths can be made available on request. This makes the Gyro Whip system suitable for the majority of bulk storage and handling applications.
Special advantages of the Gyro Whip System
Gyro Whip is a wholly remote system, meaning there is no need for dangerous, time consuming man entry operation that could potentially put your staff in close proximity to hazardous, unstable blockages and hang-ups.
The Gyro Whip silo cleaning process can be quickly assembled and is capable of delivering highly effective cleaning results in even the largest silos.
Constructed from light weight aluminium, the system is highly manoeuvrable. These materials, combined with a compressed air drive system ensure no risk of sparking in zone 1 and 2 fire hazard areas.
